Getting started...
A long time has passed since I thought of starting to write this blog, but I finally made up my mind to. I like writing in English and Japanese, and my top priority is rearing my two sons, so here I'd like to introduce how it is like to raise them for a bilingual Japanese mother in Japan. I hope this purpose will keep me going. Halloween is coming again. Even though most of us Japanese are Buddhists, we are still fond of letting our kids wear costumes to attend various Halloween events. My sons have been attending the Halloween events held by Step By Step Eikaiwa in Takase. Our community holds Halloween events for children every year. What we Japanese mothers expect through making our children learn foreign customs is hard to explain. We may simply need some reason to get together to know how other mothers are raising their children and have opportunities to talk to each other.
